What is this site about?

Hеllo, my name is Alex Stepanov. I have been working in the elevator industry for 20+ years. I am currently writing a book «Elevatorpedia», in which I talk about the elevator industries in countries around the world. There are currently 30 countries in my book, with about the same number to go. In my book I write about the past, present and future of elevators. It is truly a monumental work.
